This is a picture of Birdtail Butte in Montana — my entry for Horizons
A fantastic challenge, to find a picture that portrays the concept of the infinite. For me, sunrises in Montana seem to stretch forever, like this one shot just south of Lloyd. A sunrise brings with it the promise of a new beginning and each one is infinitely crafted by its Infinite Creator
I love meeting people from all over the world. These two people became special as I was the first Westerner they had ever met. Friendly, a little shy and eager to expand their world even as I expanded mine. I see the world as a collection of people, all unique, that I want the opportunity to meet and share life together with.

A small gallery of pictures taken from above. My son’s first drum set, a friend’s little boy and the aftermath of supper on a high chair’s tray.

On a trip to China this little tyke strolled up to say “hello”
Why a picture of a diaper? Because my wife started a business manufacturing custom cloth diapers (www.damorydiapers.com) after a failed adoption. We thought we were adopting a little girl at birth, but a changed mind by the mom led to our disappointment. An even bigger change occurred when, 11 months later, we were contacted about adopting the same little girl — this time successfully. So change happened twice, a new business and a new daughter. Funny how life’s only constant is change.
